So, here we are. The first snow of winter.

For no real reason at all I like to note the date that the first snow arrives each winter. Today we woke up to find the garden covered with a light snow. It was enough to make driving with summer tyres impossible, and it was enough to make walking for the bus a tricky proposition.

The snow continued to fall for most of the day, and by the time I went home the ground was convincingly white. The photograph was taken while I was standing at the tram stop in Arabianranta.
