Overnight there was a major snowstorm. When we got up the snow in the yard was 30cm deep in parts. We had to push the front door open. The cat was almost completely submerged when it went outside. It came back in in less than three minutes.

After breakfast I spent three hours clearing the paths and the front yard, before having a shower and lying on the floor because my back and shoulders ached.

I am looking out of the window at the snow on the roof, which is interestingly patterned in an archeological kind of way. Auo and Irma are leaving for Itäkeskus because Auo needs new jeans. They will be gone for several hours.

Finally they will return with numerous packages but no jeans.
