Introduction
I realised towards the end of last year that I had become addicted to missing visual opportunities, and that this must change. I never seemed to take the photograph I wanted to take, but instead went to bed at night thinking about the opportunities I had missed.
This year I am going to recover from this in the only way possible: one place at a time. I have committed myself to take a photograph every day in 2008, and to post it here.
There are very few rules. The photograph has to be spontaneous, and not set up in any way. It has to capture something about where I am, so I am not going to go somewhere specifically to photograph it to include here. They should all have explanatory captions, including the time and place. By the end of the year there should be 366 of them.
The photographs will be primarily of places not people, although people may appear in them from time to time. The photographs will be taken with my phone, which is currently a Nokia N70.
