Since the beginning of 2000 I have been documenting my travels with varying degrees of diligence. In the main I have been more concerned with documenting places than people – a process that was greatly assisted by the fact that my family were very vocal in their desires not to
- a) appear here, or
- b) have to worry about where the holiday photographs I took might end up.
I began with a digital camera from somewhere near the bottom of the 1999 range, and then moved onto to using my Nokia N70. (This was also the “camera” I used to take a photograph every day in 2008 – a project which you can find here.
This year I have begun using a Samsung camera which makes the photographs bigger if not better.
Here are some of the results. More will be added as I get round to compiling them from the mess of folders that constitute my “archives”.
