This morning it poured with rain from about six o’clock for two hours. Now it is cold and wet.

Camilla and Mikael have chickens. Most of them live in a big coop, but some of them are allowed to wander around the farm. Yesterday one of them wandered into our garden and begged for bread. This morning it has come back with one of its friends and they are wandering around the garden while the girls give them breadcrumbs.

They will both spend an hour or so in the garden eating, before trying to get into the house. The cat will take very little notice of them at all.

In the afternoon the girls will all go to Porvoo and I will sit in the sauna house writing.
