Ala Moana Boulevard, 10:45

Our heads have finally arrived in Honolulu. We also learned a lot yesterday. We therefore walk to the Ala Moana outdoor mall for the second morning in a row.

We see a lot of trolleys, the traditional wooden buses that travel the centre of Honolulu.

We will watch a hula show at the mall and later eat wacky dogs in the Shirokiya Japan Village Walk inside the mall.

We will know where and how to get a trolley back, based on yesterday’s experience. Sadly though trolleys on the pink line take the form of double decker buses with no windows.

One day soon, we promise ourselves, we will take the purple line and ride a proper wooden one.
