Sunday, October 6
The weather has turned very cold, just in time for the opening of the annual Herring Market.
In the early evening, on the way home from Kamppi, we decide to take a look. Within three minutes we have begun to feel the cold. Within eight minutes we have got back in the car.
In the brief space between arriving and leaving I stop to take the by-now-traditional photo of Jorre and Johanna’s boat. They have done good business all day, and people still flock to their boat to such an extent that this year I cannot get them into the photo.
