The rain woke me up in the night. Jutta messaged to say she had floods in Sippo. I walked to the bus stop through deep puddles and the sounds of drains in full flow.
As I approach Arcada the rain suddenly stops. I pause to photograph a drain in action. I stand and listen to it for a minute or two.
I will spend the morning working at speed on about four different projects. I seem to have contrived to have enough work to fill my every waking hour. On the bus from Kalasatama to Arcada it suddenly dawned on me that I would like a week or two in which I had nothing to do except cycle along sunny pavements and marvel at the wonders of nature.
At the current rate of progress I suspect that will happen in 2023 or thereabouts.
