Places have begun to slowly reopen. Today I will get to attend my first face-to-face meeting since sometime near the start of March.
I arrive at Stoa in a state of mounting excitement. Will I still know how to behave? Will I manage to speak without wearing headphones?
I wander around Stoa looking at the almost empty spaces. The library has opened for borrowing and returning books, but the tables and computers sit behind warning tapes or hidden in cupboards. Like restaurants the library only offers a takeaway service for the moment.
The frames for the upstairs exhibition hang in place, empty. Alternatively Stoa has seized the opportunity to show an unusually smooth exhibition of paintings by Robert Ryman. I photograph one of the paintings.
I will manage to navigate through the meeting as though I always attend these kinds of thing in person.
