The owl on the terrace looks at me balefully. We have moved it hither and thither and now it has found its new perch.
The garden has filled with birds this Spring, and they seem unusually fearless. They walk around the garden, apparently without fear, and sing all day.
In the afternoon we will find a tiny, but very loud, young bird chirping on a folding chair.
Later in the afternoon the weather will change, the wind will rise, and the temperature will drop. I will check the weather forecast. The heatwave has not completely disaapeared it seems.
We can however expect to get rained on as we sunbathe in the wind.
