Today Gita celebrates her 75th birthday and we attend a socially-distanced outdoor garden party. The rain has miraculously vanished as suddenly as it arrived, and the day has become dry, warm and sunny.
In the Spring Mika cut down a tree that stood about fifteen metres in the centre of the garden casting shade over most of it. The tree has not reacted in the way that everyone expected.
Instead of becoming a stump about one metre high it has decided to become a thick bush. Nobody knows what to make of this.
