I go walking with my head full of odd dreams. I listen to some ambient music and contemplate making some more myself. I think of an idea we had yesterday: creating a cafe-like space where the only “music” consisted of soundscapes. Rural railway stations every Thursday: things like that.
I walk over the main road and down the side of the gas station. I see some yellow piping and stop to look. I wonder whether this might count as the visual equivalent of the ambient soundscapes I have in mind.
I like small details that you can walk past every day for years without noticing, and then suddenly discover as the most interesting view in sight.
For the rest of the walk I will look for interesting piping without ever seeing any.
