I have yet to find a way in Pellinge to keep up my daily habit of going for long walks in the morning. Everything that I might walk to seems either too near or too far away. Today, in Helsinki, I leap out of bed, get dressed, and start walking.

I end up walking along Itäväylä where I discover that the old television and video repair shop has not only closed (which I knew) but actually disappeared. I photograph all that remains of it. As I walk further I see that another building further back has also started to disappear.

I suspect some major building works will begin soon as the old shops and factories get replaced by apartment blocks.
