Garden, 10:22

Day 6 of our quarantine and I got up early to begin my daily writing. I spent ninety minutes assembling the first part (of three) of an argument for the book; a strategy I first used in Ambient Learning & Self Authorship, based on reading Stephen Toulmin’s proposed model of argument.

By breakfast I had a detailed idea of what should do for the next three weeks. I also had a clear idea of what I should do tomorrow: continue building the argument for the other two sections.

Later in the morning Irma waters some of the plants in the garden. She calls to me to come and look at a spider. I race out with iPad in hand and photograph it.

From a distance it appears to have four legs. Close up it turns out to have eight which it uses in four sets of pairs.
