Lighthouse beach, 18:38

We had a day of non–stop action, all of it pleasant, all of it beneficial. A man came to paint a room. A man came to measure some cushions. A policeman in a Jeep came to find someone, didn’t, and then went away again.

Finally we go very briefly to Lighthouse beach. Tangaray takes us to Temple Place and we walk along the path, past the closed hotels and homestays, and along the deserted alley behind the beach restaurants. I notice in passing that the Lonely Planet restaurant has now closed although it looked (slightly) open when we passed the other day.

We walk past the old Village premises and out onto the beach, just as the sun starts to set.
