I spent the afternoon with Simi and two girls at DGD in Sisp. Afterwards I went for a meeting at the Subash Centre to see how it looked for Saturday, when we start a club there.

Now we have decided to go to Samudra Beach to see if the Oyster Restaurant has closed yet or not. We walk round the corner and see the tables out on the sand and sit down. Apu seems delighted to have some customers and we have a couple of beers and some vegetable pakora. I sit on the wall and catch him as he walks out beaming, with ketchup in his hand.

We sit as the sun goes down and get a rickshaw back as darkness sets in.
