Before the pandemic we used to pass, and occasionally visit, a small spice shop called Spice World, at the start of the path leading from the temple to Lighthouse Beach. It disappeared and we sometimes wondered what had happened to it.

This week we found out. The owner had spent his enforced leisure dreaming and planning. He reopened this week just round the corner at the bottom of Temple Road. He now has a much bigger and brighter shop, with his own neatly designed and packaged brand of spices. If I remember correctly, he has called his brand Bompappa. I know for a fact that he has called the shop Spice dot com.

Does he own this domain name? Of course not!
