Dining room, 11:30

Naa arrived home just as we were about to start breakfast. In the week my breakfast consists of Weetabix and home-preserved fruit. Today it is sandwiches, fruit juice and tea.
After breakfast Irma and I will spend sometime scraping wax off the floor by the fireplace, where a candle exploded a week ago. Cloths in hand, I will then clean some doors.
In the afternoon Irma and I will go for a walk along roads that will prove to be exceedingly slippery. Storm-level winds will encourage us along.
We will walk down to the sea with a big chunk of old bread and feed the ducks. At yhe sight of bread they will lose all fear and swarm around our feet.
At 17:00 I will notice that it has suddenly got dark.
