the garden, 14:45
Naa had spent the night at Sampo’s and Irma and I slept until almost midday.
I took some of the things we had borrowed back to Tarkku and then went for a short walk. Irma drove to Tusita’s to return more things.
We tidied up the garden, which is suddenly in full summer bloom. I am looking at one of the many tulips.
In an hour or so it will start to rain and later it will rain very hard indeed.
In the evening Irma will go to watch a youth football match; the one in which she was hit in the face by a ball last year. She will decline my suggestion that she wears a helmet this year, opting instead to avoid standing on the goal line.
