YEAR: 2015 | Helsinki | tree cutting | wind
E18 Highway, 16:10
This morning the sun was out but the wind was a loud gale that blew the garden furniture around.
The weather forecast has promised that the weekend will include an unprecedented winter storm, and so we agreed that we would leave to Helsinki when Naa finished work.
While Naa was working I cut down my first branches of the summer: some birch and some maple. They were small but quite high up, and the sheep loved the leaves.
Naa arrived back at 15:00 and we caught the 15:15 ferry.
Now we are halfway between Porvoo and Helsinki, talking about the impressive bank of clouds.
At home we will eat pasta and drink Punk Pale Ale. It will be warm enough to sit on the terrace and drink it, and there will be so little wind we will enjoy it.
