The light and the mist and the mountains make for the kind of photographs that you just know everyone else takes and you don’t care.

We travel up and down the mountainsides, looking at the tea plantations.

The travelling will lead us to the Tea Museum, which will prove far more interesting than I expected and lead us in turn to a nearby set of workshops where differently-abled people hand-make paper, make jams and cakes, do block printing and create clothing from it.

This constituted much more than “charity work”. As we arrived the jam makers were finishing a large order of strawberry jam (made from strawberries grown on the workshop farm) for Starbucks.
